The craft

Days of work, hours of stitch.

A single phulkari can take a skilled artisan two to six weeks to embroider. We don't rush the thread โ€” and we don't dress it up. What you see is what was made: cotton ground, silk floss, one pair of patient hands.

  • Hand-counted cotton ground, woven in Punjab
  • Silk floss thread, dyed in small batches
  • Finished, pressed and tagged in Brunswick, VIC
