Our Story

Threads that carry a
village in every stitch.

Phulkari โ€” literally "flower work" โ€” is the embroidery of Punjab, traditionally stitched by women for weddings, births, and the everyday joy of dressing. Every scarf on this site is a continuation of that tradition, finished in Australia from silk thread we have tested on Australian skin, sun, and sand.

The maker's hand.

We work with a small cooperative of embroiderers in Punjab and finish every piece in our Sydney studio โ€” overlocked edges, silk-lined corners, a small numbered tag sewn into the hem. Each scarf carries a maker's initial.

When you wear one, you are wearing months of handwork. Treat it gently and it will outlive trends.
